cross the Irish Sea for a second time to Holyhead. The final leg in Wales will begin in Snowdonia
and culminate with tabbing from Waun Fach in the Black Mountains, finishing at the Summit of Pen Y
Fan in the Brecon Beacons on the 16th June 2017 - a total duration of 25 days....
SCOTLAND - Op Thunderstruck
The Challenge will begin with tabbing from base camp to the summit of the UK's biggest mountain Ben Nevis and then will continue through Fort William, Loch Lomond, Dumfries and Galloway before completing the Scotland Leg in the Scottish Borders. The Scotland Leg will aim to complete 40 summits in 6 days with the aim to cycle most of the route between peak regions.
ENGLAND - Op Eye of the Tiger
From Scotland, we will arrive by cycle to Cross Fell and from Cross Fell cycle to Keswick, from Keswick it is our aim to pick up the gauntlet of the Bob Graham Round (42 peaks in 24 hrs over a combined distance of 66 miles), although the decision on whether we'll aim to complete in 24 hrs is still to be decided upon. (as the bikes would have made their way to Eire already). From Douglas we will catch the ferry to Dublin (unless we decide Kayaking from the IoM to Eire is achievable). On the ferry we will 'Ergo and Row' (if permitted by the ferry company) for the entire duration of the crossing.
ISLE OF MAN - Op Don't Stop Me Now
From base camp at Keswick we will cycle to Seascale (if permitted as a set down point) and Kayak the following morning (in two man kayaks) or on the first available/favourable tide (weather conditions permitting) to Ramsey on the Isle of Man (again if permitted as an arrival point). From Ramsey we will tab to summit Snaefell, then tab on to Douglas, from Douglas we will kayak back across the Irish Sea to Holyhead.
WALES - Op Brothers in Arms
On reaching Holyhead we will cycle to the set down point for Carnedd Llewelyn. We will then tab to summit the three peaks of Carnedd Llewelyn – Glyder Fawr – Snowdon. From Snowdon, we will cycle to Aran Fawddwy and tab to summit the peak before cycling on to the set down point for Waun Fach. On the Final part of the challenge, we will tab to summit Waun Fach before completing the challenge at the summit of Pen y Fan.
